EXTREME Caving in the Yorkshire Dales
Are you looking for a trip that leaves you speechless, a trip that you’ll be telling your friends about for years to come, a trip beyond all other trips – then our EXTREME Caving trip is the one for you.
We will take you to one of the few caves in the Yorkshire Dales that is Big and Bad enough to give you this experience. Once in the cave you will be challenged with big abseils, big climbs, tight squeezes, deep water pools, waterfalls and roped traverses.
We don’t ask that you have already been caving before, but we do ask that you are ready for an intense day out and that you’re are adventurous minded and good with heights. If you are unsure then our ADVENTURE Caving trip may suit better.
Your Caving session will begin with; getting kitted out in the appropriate safety equipment, (see below kit list), a brief from your instructor on the surface, then its lights on and in you go!
An ideal trip for; Small groups of Friends, Couples and small Stag/Hens groups.

Not only do we provide the best caves for your experience with us at Live for Today, but we also provide all of your safety clothing and equipment too as standard. This includes your under suit and over suit, wellington boots, helmet, lamp, and your belt/harness. Of course, if you want to bring your own wellingtons for comfort, please feel free. Also bring suitable base layers and thick socks for your experience, as well as towels and a change of clothes for afterwards.
All of our equipment and clothing is inspected and maintained on a regular basis for your peace of mind and for your comfort during your caving experience. If at any point you feel uncomfortable or unsafe in any way, our instructors will be on hand to support you however you need. An alternative route will always be available.
