Rock Climbing - Inside to Out
So you have climbed indoors and now is the time to move outdoors and try rock climbing for real. Transfer your skills and knowledge to the outdoors with one of our instructors on hand to guide you through the process. Learn the techniques to top rope routes and set up your ropes safely.
We will cover:
Safe and efficient belaying.
Communication and climbing calls.
Setting up top ropes, choice of anchors and how to use them.
Selecting routes, using guidebooks and grading climbs.
Techniques and progression in the sport.
You will quickly progress and gain knowledge, skills and experience.
Learn the techniques of belaying and rope management, and see how we make it all safe and put it into practice.
You can also experience abseiling.
Your climbing session will begin with an introduction to the equipment used and getting you equipped and ready for action. Your instructor will tailor the day to best fit your needs and level of experience.

This includes your harness, helmet and any ropes and safety equipment required. If you have your own kit then please feel free to bring it along to use on the day and if you don't have climbing shoes, just bring some sturdy shoes / trainers.
All of our equipment is inspected and maintained on a regular basis for your peace of mind and comfort during your climbing experience. If at any point you feel uncomfortable or unsafe in any way, our instructors will be on hand to support you. We also run a challenge by choice policy which means you will never feel pressured by our team to do something you feel uncomfortable with.
