Can you Conquer The Tower?
Situated in the lovely grounds of the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal, we are delighted to tower above the competition of our fellow activity providers, by offering what our customers say is “the perfect challenge” for adventurous folk out there who want to take their adrenaline rush to new heights. Welcome to Conquer the Tower.
Comprising four key elements for you to assess and attack, Conquer the Tower sees you and your team taking on the Tower to be crowned champions of your challenge. If you get that far.
CHALLENGE 1 - CLIMBING WALL
Using one coloured pathway only, you must scale our 40ft tower all the way to the top. This challenge requires physical strength as well as a degree of forward planning.
CHALLENGE 2 - ABSEIL
Don’t congratulate yourself too much once you get to the top of the tower, because the next challenge requires you to lower yourself backwards off it in order to abseil all the way back down to the bottom.
CHALLENGE 3 - ARMY ROPES
Landed safely back on the ground? Great. It's time to ascend the tower for the second time. But, if you thought the first time was a challenge, you ain’t seen nothing yet. This time, your ascent will need to be made purely by pulling yourself up on our army ropes! This will make your first ascent look – and feel – easy.
CHALLENGE 4 - LEAP OF FAITH
Finish your challenge with a real thrill….the Leap of Faith. This time you’ll have to climb our very tall and very wobbly 35ft telegraph pole. Once secure at the top, don’t get too comfortable, because you’re about to take… a leap of faith…
